This website is my personal site, used for posting daily ramblings and sharing links, files or songs I've found useful and inspirational. I'm planning on having a blog up shortly but don't hold me to this; I'm a very busy person.
Dungeon Keeper Editor
Dungeon Keeper was a strategy game developed by
Bullfrog. It was set in the depths of the earth, where creatures of various design and menace lurked. The aim of the game was simple; eliminate all opposition through whatever means possible. I grew up on this game and it was one that me and my brother absolutely adored and shared together. We used the map editor to make and code each other maps and some of them were exceptionally imaginative and exciting.
When I recently re-installed
Dungeon Keeper I couldn't find the map editor for download anywhere. After nearly two hours of searching solidly, I found it on some Japanese blog. Since the majority of people's searching skills probably aren't as well honed and experienced as my own, I felt the need to upload this to a convenient location.
I hope this brings you many hours of joy like it did me and my brother!
Final Fantasy XI Altana View Lists
Altana View is a programme that reads all of the
Final Fantasy XI data folders and displays this data visually, as it would appear in the game. The advantages and benifits of such a programme obviously needs no explanation. Unfortunately, the lists used to view the various data files is not automatically updated; this means that whenever new data is added to the game (At version updates or after maintenance, perhaps) people have to find and re-download the lists files with all of the updated data files listed.
Finding these lists is an absolute bugger; that is why I'm hosting them here. I will try my best to keep this link as updated as possible. My friend on the Garuda Server knows how to export the various data files into the lists and assures me he has no problems doing so after a version update! Hurrah for him!
Infinity 2008 - Guru Josh Project
Infinity 2008 by
Guru Josh Project is one of my favourite songs at the moment. It's fantastic and really puts you into the mood to either crack some skulls (virtual, of course) or focus on whatever task you've set yourself for the day. When I'm lacking in concentration, I find this song really helps me to focus.
Perhaps it could do the same for you? The video contains a random woman (Note: She is very attractive) making her way into some derelict building. As she ventures further, for some bizarre but pleasant reason, she starts to undress. By the end of the video she's only wearing underwear. Then she smashes a brick wall in with a sledgehammer.
I know. Makes fuck all sense to me either. Either way, it's worth a listen. I guarantee you will like it!
